3D Reverse Engineering
Parts for classic cars are difficult to obtain.
When automotive plastic parts are discontinued, in short supply, or no longer available, we utilize advanced reverse engineering technology to recreate them. By using 3D scanning, we capture the precise geometry of the original component and develop an accurate 3D CAD model. In addition to reproducing the original design, we perform structural analysis and optimization to address design weaknesses, improving the part's strength, durability, and ease of assembly. Once the design is finalized, the part can be manufactured using engineering-grade ABS plastic or engineering-grade UV-curable resin, depending on the application requirements. This enables the rapid reproduction of unavailable components, providing reliable solutions for vehicle repair, restoration, and custom applications.
Broken Plastic Parts
For cracked or damaged automotive plastic components, we use hot staple reinforcement or stainless steel mesh reinforcement to structurally strengthen the damaged areas before repair. Depending on the material of the component, the appropriate plastic welding process—such as ABS, PP, PC, or other engineering plastics—is then applied to fuse the material, creating a strong and seamless bond between the original and repaired sections. Compared with conventional adhesive-based repairs, this repair method significantly improves structural strength, impact resistance, and long-term durability. It greatly reduces the risk of future failure, extends the service life of the component, and delivers superior repair quality while maintaining the original appearance and fit.
